Procam Take 2's Scottish branches are proud to support the Screen Education Edinburgh Craft Skills course in association with BFI Film Academy for the second time.
Craft Skills offers keen 16 to 19 year olds the opportunity to develop specialist filmmaking skills, working with industry-standard equipment and leading industry professionals.
The 2022 course began online on 9th July when 25 learners selected from around the UK received screenwriting training and were supported to write screenplays.
The in-person residential started on 30th July and will end on 6th August at Fettes College, Edinburgh. After choosing a filmmaking specialism, the students participate in technical workshops and masterclasses to learn more about that craft area and develop a specialist skillset. Using professional camera equipment from Procam Take 2 Scotland and award-winning industry experts' support, the students will use their new skills to turn three of the screenplays into films.
