On Wed 9th March, Procam Take 2 partnered with Deadbeat Films to supply camera equipment for the filming of Night for Ukraine - a fundraising event held at The Roundhouse, London. Funds raised on the evening were donated to the DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee) appeal to support humanitarian and emergency response work in Ukraine and neighbouring countries.
Ukrainian born Bloom Twins helped curate the event which featured live music from international artists (such as Bob Geldof, Franz Ferdinand, Chrissie Hynde), spoken word poetry, DJ sets and a performance by the London Community Gospel Choir. A call to the creative community, Night for Ukraine set out to encourage other artists, organisers and venues to stage their own night across the UK to support DEC. Within the first week of the appeal, £132 million was raised.
Deadbeat Films had four camera operators filming from multiple angles, with the objective to create a two-hour concert film (coming soon) to raise additional funds. A sizzle reel can currently be viewed below and donations to the DEC can be made by clicking here.
Procam Take 2 London provided equipment including a Black Magic Ursa Mini Pro 4.6k, Canon Cine 17-120mm T2.95 zoom lenses, a Fujinon 85-300mm T2.9 and Teradek Wireless Transmission Systems.
