Procam Take 2 is pleased to be once again named an Official Partner of Edinburgh International Film Festival. This year, EIFF takes place from August 12 - 20 and will feature in-person screenings and events held at venues in Edinburgh.
Following the success of last year's partnership, Procam Take 2 will return as sponsors of EIFF Youth and EIFF Industry Programmes, providing professional filming equipment for various youth and industry activities.
PT2's Scottish branches will also provide £1,500 equipment rental vouchers for the three winners of the EIFF's New Visions Short Film Competition as part of its continued support for emerging talent.
The New Visions competition exists to discover Scottish films' newest voices and bring their visions to the global stage. This year's finalists will attend a public screening of their work at EIFF 2022 and compete for one of three New Visions Awards. Each winner will receive a Procam Take 2 voucher to use on camera, grip, lighting, and audio equipment rental to help shoot their next film.
Yvonne Gordon, Head of Community Engagement and Learning at EIFF, said: “We are so pleased to be able to work again with Procam Take 2 in supporting EIFF’s Youth programme. This partnership means that we can continue to deliver EIFF’s commitment in supporting the next generation of filmmakers in delivering exciting new work.”
Darryl Hewat, Procam Take 2's Scotland Sales Director, said: "We're delighted to support the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2022 and look forward to continuing our relationship in future. The New Visions Competition is a fantastic initiative that helps emerging filmmakers achieve their potential, and we're pleased to be able to provide equipment support for this year's winners."
